Progress update…..

Smoked the inner headlights and lamin-x gun smoked the frontfogs and indicators….

Twas then onto the last of the lamin-x and the rear lamps….in future I’m only doing this on cars built pre-1980…square edges, 90 degree bends etc.. curves are a bastard to do……heat, stretch, stick, heat, trim…..



Lamin-x cut roughly to size….



Stuck on the flat faces..cleaned all the part no's etc off with a chisel , so the bubbles wouldn’t upset alan….lol



Trimmed, heated stuck down for time immemorial…..



So I was on a bit of a roll, said I’d give the carbonwrap I got a bit of a go. this was the flimsy stuff I bought in Essen last year, not the thick professional stuff I got at inters to do the roof etc….fuck me tis fiddly, like paper and wrinkles easily….I may get a pro to re-do this as I’m not too happy with the finish….just held the panel in place to see what it looks like…no ‘in-process’pics as I was doing too much swearing, sweating etc trying to get it right!
